Adult Faith Formation

The goal of the A.F.F. committee is to form the adults within our faith community into mature disciples of Christ through programs which address the diverse needs of an adult population.  It is our belief that catechesis does not stop after Confirmation.  We, as Catholics, need to continually strive to live our faith through our actions, our words and our dynamic relationship with God.  Ultimately, we want to ensure that each point of contact with the Church provides an opportunity for people to engage and challenge their faith.

We have formed three committees to begin to fulfill this mission.
- Lending Library catalogues and organizes books, etc. to be borrowed by parishioners.  We look forward to holding book discussions and programs.
- Scripture Study facilitates courses in Scripture from the Little Rock Scripture Series.  Past courses include Introduction to the Bible, Acts of the Apostles and Exodus.
- Social Justice educates our parish on social issues and encourages us to take action to make our voices heard in our society.

Future groups we're hoping to establish include a study group for mothers of small children, ministering to singles, divorced and widowed and coordinating parish-wide social functions.
